Thomai Apergi is a unique voice, an artist with a Mediterranean flair who came close to the audience as to offer new amazing sounds. She started studying music history and theory, along with classical and electric guitar. She also started voice couching lessons, while creating her own unique musical personality. Her different voice color and the music influences she obtained, turned her to explore the smooth jazz repertoire, dancing bossa nova, downtempo electronica, funk, soul and jazz music. In 2012 she released her debut single in two versions; the English version “What’s Your Name” and the Greek one, “Mia Vradia”. Then she released the soul funk “You Keep Me Rolling”, followed by equally successful singles such as “Gine Gyrismos”, “Summer Nights” and “Oti Agapisa Esy”. She also participated in Evridiki’s 25th anniversary album, singing an inspirational cover of the hit “Ayto To Fili” along with Harris Savva. In 2013 she took part in the Greek national final for the Eurovision Song Contest with the song “One Last Kiss”. The song won the second place, but became people’s favorite, as did 2015 with the song “Jazz & Syrtaki”. Apart from her hit singles, Thomai Apergi has many sold out solo performances across Greece and on stage collaborations with artists such as Antonis Remos, Stelios Rokkos, Eleni Foureira, Konstantinos Argyros, Despina Vandi, Natassa Theodoridou and Giorgos Sampanis. Also, she has performed to many music events, such as Madwalk, while, in 2013, she participated in the show “Your Face Sounds Familiar”.
