Biography
Takis Zacharatos is a renowned and successful performer, who has charted his own unique career as a mime, actor and singer. Although he was initially involved in hairdressing, his original talent for imitation did not go unnoticed by Roula Koromila, who asked him to collaborate with her on the show “Mia Kalimera Einai Auti” which she presented on ERT (1990-1991) and, later, in “Proinos Kafes” on ANT1 (1991 – 1993). He attended seminars in London, Los Angeles and New York and took voice lessons with Julie Massino for 8 years. His first album was released in 1994, entitled “Egklima Kardias” while he has also released the album “”Oloi Oi Dromoi” (2005) and successful singles such as “Ela” in collaboration with Giorgos Theofanous, “Dyo Anthropoi Ena Kormi”, “Zo Gia Sena” and “Se Thelo Toso”. His performances, such as “I Am What What I Am”, “My Way” and “Zo Gia Sena”, are always sold out and set ticket records. He has collaborated with excellent directors, composers and choreographers, such as Andreas Voutsinas, Stamatis Kraounakis, Sofia Spyratou and Dimitris Papazoglou, while he has collaborated on stage with Marinella, Anna Vissi and Vassilis Karras among others. He made his debut as an actor to the cinema in 1993, in the film “Pano Kato Kai Plagios” by Michalis Kakogiannis while in 2008 he starred for the first time in a theatrical play, titled “Sesouar Gia Dolofonous”. At the same time, he has been a guest star on several successful TV series, such as “Tmima Ithon”, “Ta Mpakouria”, “Egklimata”, “To Kokkino Domatio”, “Tis Ellados Ta Paidia” and “Mana Einai Mono Mia”. In 2005 he presented his own TV show, entitled “Zo Ena Drama”, through which he introduced to the public an incredible exuberant popular person, Myriam Aplou, who was immediately loved. In 2014 he was a judge on “Your Face Sounds Familiar”.
