Giorgos Papadopoulos is one of the most successful singers and songwriters of his generation, with personal hits and hits that have been interpreted by other singers. Music was always his great love. Ιn his teens, he created his own band. His first cd, entitled “Vythos”, was released in his hometown, Cyprus, in 2003, followed by the single “Save Me”, which received gold certification. His songs made him stand out immediately. In 2004 he made the opening act in Anna Vissi’s concert at the GSP stage in Nicosia. In 2006, he released the cd “Se Pethymisa”, which was awarded as the best production of the year in Cyprus. In 2007 he moved to Athens and, from the very first moment, stood out. Almost a year later, he released his first album in Greece, entitled “Thalasses” containing songs by songwriters such as Christos Thebaios, Takis Damaschis and NAMA, with the first single, “Oxi”, to become a major radio success. The album certified gold and was reissued with a bonus dvd and two new songs “Soma Me Soma” and “Gia Tin Agapi Sou” which became immediately smash hits. In 2008 he made the opening act in Jennifer Lopez’s concert at Athens Olympic Stadium. His albums and singles always gain the audience’s preference and top the radio charts. Among his dozens of hits are; “Ola Sto Kokkino”, “Esy Den Ksereis”, “Gia Sena”, “Pes Mou Epitelous S Agapo”, “Oloi Mou Lene”, “Spas Ta”, “Thaymata”, “Apochrosi Toy Grizou”, “To Xirotero Sou Psema”, “Pes Mou”, “Na Na Na”, “Panigyrizo”, “Gyrizo Ton Xrono”, “Na Pernas”, “Den To Antexo”, “San Trelos” and “Agapi Mou”. Equally successful is his career as a songwriter. He has written songs for well known singers that immediately became a success, such as Antonis Remos, Notis Sfakianakis, Kaiti Garbi, Eleni Foureira, Natasa Theodoridou, Melina Aslanidou, Giorgos Mazonakis, Elena Paparizou, NINO Xypolitas, Evridiki, Tamta and Panos Kiamos. His live performances are always a success. He had performed solo, as well as in major music events, such as MAD Video Music Awards in Greece and Super Awards in Cyprus. In 2019 he performed first time solo in London, Sweden, Australia Israel and Russi. Besides, he has collaborated on stage with singers such as Kaiti Garbi, Despina Vandi, Natassa Theodoridou, Melina Aslanidou, Paola, Iro, Panos Kiamos, Evridiki and Christos Dantis. In 2014 he was the winner of the show “Just The 2 Of Us”, while in 2015 he was assistant coach of Despina Vandi at “The Voice” and in 2017 he was a judge in “The X Factor”.
