Melina Kana is one of the most outstanding singers. Although she studied Philology, the song she has been involved with since her student years was what won her over. In 1987 he began appearances in “Plato” in Thessaloniki, which lasted four years and were the occasion to meet the composer Stavros Kougioumetzis and collaborated with him. She was a student of Nikos Mamagakis and in the summer of 1989 she participated in the summer concerts of Nikos Papazoglou. In 1991 she made her record debut with the album “Mystika Tragoudia”, followed by her acquaintance with Socrates Malamas, with whom she collaborated on the song “Tha Valo Ta Metaxota” which established her. She has made countless live appearances, both solo and in collaboration with artists such as Dionysis Savvopoulos, George Dalaras, Haroula Alexiou, Manolis Rasoulis, Eleni Tsaligopoulou and Thanasis Papakonstantinou, as well as numerous tours abroad. Continuing her successful record steps, she collaborates with the composer Themis Karamouratidis for her upcoming new album, from which the first single entitled “Spitha” has been revealed.
